Michelle has over 25 years of experience in public and private equity markets, with a strong, global track record in sales, investing, research and leadership.
Most recently at global boutique adviser and fund-raiser, MVision, Michelle lead the Investor Management Team in Asia and globally, was a member of the global leadership team, and led multiple fund raising project teams for Asia-based funds across private equity and credit. Michelle spent 10 years at Macquarie Bank in sales and leadership positions in Hong Kong and Sydney, including four years as Head of Equities for Hong Kong and China. She was also a Board Director of Macquarie Equities Asia Limited, and played an active role in primary and secondary placements.
Michelle has deep relationships with institutional investors, and is recognised for her ability to add value to both managers and investors through her comprehensive understanding of their differentiated investment imperatives, processes and styles. Michelle has experience in investing in listed equities globally, having spent five years at Bankers Trust as a fund manager and global team leader focused on sectors ranging from resources, basic industries and energy to utilities, transport and pharmaceuticals. She started her career in London where she was a top rated analyst on European companies with HSBC, before moving to Sydney in 1996 where she focused on Diversified Industrial and Wine companies with Citigroup.
Michelle has an MA Honours Degree in French and Psychology from St Andrews University , Scotland. She is a Director and Treasurer of The Women’s Foundation, a leading HK-based charity, and is qualified member of the UK Institute of Directors.
Michelle is licensed with the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong (Type 1 Licence – Dealing in Securities). She is also Licensed and Affiliated in the USA with Butler Capital Partners, a registered broker-dealer, Member FINRA. This gives CC Strategic Partners access to the large US institutional investor market.
Michelle is based in Hong Kong and available for a limited number of directorship appointments.
